dance to taps From a small village in Africa to New York city and Los Angeles, I survived trials and tribulations that claimed many lives. I have seen it all, done it all, survived it all. Still, My caring heart and mind is more important than my survival. I was a happy child with very little luxuries in my small village. In search for happiness, I have tried many things and strayed on cigarette, marijuana, Alcohol, Cocaine, crack and other drugs. Availability, through temptations, is partly to be blamed but resisting imposed culture based on lies contributed to my problems. Poor Africa never understood why developed countries 'subsidized' cigarette for Africa or what availability can do to children. Or may be governments only care about short term financial gains. Without age limit to buy cigarrette and alcoho in my countryl, I was taught to be respectful to adults who sent me to buy cigarette for them. So I bought them cigarette till I eventually tried it at around age nine. I survived it like many people but how many suffer and die through cigarette? Then I started to smoke marijuana, the 'natural herb', to help me sleep better than Michael Jackson. Listening to Reggae music and smoking with friends. I knew colonization was the reason Alcohol is legalized in my country and wondered about the hypocritical stand on marijuana. I have lost too many friends to imprisonment and to mental problems. May be nothing is meant for everyone and some people can survive much worse drugs. My survival should not mean ignoring my 'lost friends' and thus I believe in decriminalization but also in ADFEC. I came to the United States where I was not legally allowed to drink alcohol due to my age. They even acted like Mecca on Sundays to insult Christianity with hypocritical policies. At first I thought the government was caring till I entered the nightclub. People were drinking, seemingly having fun, yet I was not allowed to drink. The torturing temptations led me to secure a fake ID. I drank a beer or two and wondered about how cruel and dumb the lawmakers are. They claimed under age drinking is dangerous but drinking is not even for all adults. Eventually, I was allowed to legally drink and almost encouraged me to drink 'responsibly'. There are certainly irresponsible drinkers and less irresponsible drinkers but there is nothing responsible in drinking. The term 'responsible drinkers' is illusory and misleading. May be culture is one-eye to happiness and sacrifice minorities with indifference and one-sided blames. Or may be luck is what make us responsible and irresponsible. One night, I was in a nightclub with friends. We drank no more than we usually drank. I had only two bottles, far less than my friends. So they asked me to drive and I drove. A deer caused a less responsible driver to collide with our vehicle. A friend of mine died and an other one was maimed. Needless to discuss the charges, I am more concern in saving 'future friends'. One of my friends became a drunkard over it but I mourned my friends by staying away from the nightclub. Society blamed my other friend as “irresponsible” and told me is part of life. Since there were no Adfec, I eventually restarted going to clubs again. Few months later I met a friend in the nightclub who introduced me to cocaine. It felt good, nonetheless dangerous. We were 'responsible users' but my employers say there is nothing responsible in using drugs. So I became Jobless and started selling drugs. Society keep blaming me for making drugs 'available'. I and many others survive hard drugs but how many people suffer through hard drugs? Now I am beginning to understand the relationship between availability and temptations but also the correlations between impairments in the search for happiness. Life is a distinctive test from collective tests. It is our collective responsibility to help establish Adfec Zones. My survival has little to do with the world but my caring proposal has everything to do with the world. May God bless Adfec, May God bless Showlove Trinity: Let's learn, let's work, let's have fun. By Jigster, An African Philosopher. Jigster is the Founder of www.ADFEC.info February 20, 2011. Recently the World Health Organisation (WHO) lamented on the negative effects of Alcohol and urged governments to effectuate means to curtail its consumption. Highlighting the problem has been going on for decades, if not centuries. Suggestive solutions are needed and I hereby urge you to recommend a very promising initiative called Adfec Zones, which stands for Alcohol and drug free entertainment club zones. We must realize the best changes happen gradually and strategically. So by establishing Adfec zones, the children will grow to appreciate entertainment without alcohol. Every major city with over one million in population needs to have Adfec zones. These will help the children who want to stay away from alcohol to understand that they are not necessarily odd and will provide them with the necessary friends and venues to abstain or minimize alcohol consumption. Immediately, and within ten to twenty years of establishing Adfec zones will yield formidable results and/or deter enormous suffering. It is highly significant for every concern person to understand that governments worship taxes, earn significantly through alcohol, and the multi-billion dollar alcohol industry may not like initiatives like Adfec zones. This simply means we need concerted efforts and undeterred determination to establish what may help billions of victims. Let's us not wait for governments to come up with pseudo efforts that contributed or failed to deter the alarming statistics. Increasing punishment on things like driving while impaired may temporarily generate income for governments but cannot come close to what establishing Adfec zones can do for this world. Saving few alcoholics may generate far more income to governments. Justice is our mutual friend that can uplift humankind, including governments. So many Alcoholics, including president George W Bush, have proven to us that their irresponsible behavior is not necessarily permanent. We cannot focus on the successfully rehabilitated ones to ignore other possibilities that may help the suffering ones. Establishing Adfec zones is a humanitarian obligation. Ignoring the need for Adfec zones is a crime that defies various school of human reasoning. We all have the right to nightlife entertainment and denying the choice of 'tempt free' entertainment with inaction is simply cruel. We all have been teenagers, understand peer pressure, understand temptation through availability, understand how deep music is to the human soul... Why should we torture the pro-abstinence teenagers with alcohol oriented entertainment districts? The weak adult who is in and out of treatment centers still deserve nightlife entertainment. Just as governments control businesses to eventually craft-out alcohol oriented entertainment districts (streets) that wow people; we must urge local to federal governments to understand the need and right to Adfec zones. It is a rightful choice. I urge you to visit www.adfec.info to possibly learn more, to contact me with any question you may have, and above all: to strongly urge governments on establishing Adfec zones. I thank you in Advance and counting on your support for a better world.
Sincerely,

pharisees” obsessed with punishment Before the Court house They charged me with “Manslaughter” after tempting me with indifference Malls – an inexpensive way to establish Adfec Zones March 11, 2010 Transforming shopping malls to Adfec zones is practical, inexpensive, and beneficial. By simply legislating two to four Adfec spot per shopping mall can be a good start in reaping what Adfec can offer. Instead of bars and hotels found in many modern malls today, we can obligate malls to accommodate Adfec entertainment spots just like we control the type of business one wants to open before we rent out certain places. Presently, we control, with limited choices, the type of businesses people can operate on certain location. And we even control the type of residential building one can erect in certain neighborhoods. So it should be perfectly fine to transform at least two malls in every city of more than one Million people to an Adfec zone. Obviously, such spots should be ideally located from the outside of the mall and must offer nightlife entertainment. Two to four spots per mall is enough competition and should yield enough traffic to send an encouraging message that thousands in my city do enjoy without drugs and alcohol occasionally. The teenager who wants to abstain from drugs and alcohol will finally be given the deserved choice of entertainment without temptations. The alcoholic adult who is and out treatment centers will appreciate the choice we offer. Our collective responsibility does not stop in building treatment centers and jails but starts and should continue with providing options like Adfec zones to the weak in every sense. It does not stop from telling a business person that you cannot open a computer store here but it should start and continue to affirm 'open your bar anywhere but not here'. The ideal Adfec zone should be built from scratch with entertainment in mind. It will be very expensive for some cities to build such zones due to lack of planning. So transforming malls to Adfec zones is inexpensive, practical, and beneficial. May God bless Showlove Trinity: Let's learn, let's work, let's have fun. Imagining Adfec in a Family March 11, 2010 Imagine Adfec in a Family, Where your Dad is a struggling Alcoholic who is in and out of treatment centers. Sometimes he is so good, a hard worker, treats you well, and gives you a hug occasionally. After some problems, he tells you he loves you with tears in his eyes while he says “bye” to visit a treatment center. You cried in love with your mum and sisters, insisting my tax dollars should help treat your Dad. While one of your sisters and some tax payers blame his second relapse, You even sold the piano present he bought for you to upgrade him to a privately tax aided center. You know that your Dad is not a bad person, just happen to have a problem. His efforts to leave you and other loved ones to a boring treatment center should be appreciated. As a human being and music lover, he wanted to go to a nightclub one night. The family fought his desires fearing temptations but he convinced you. First night without alcohol, danced all night, had fun, and wowed the crowd with his piano talent. He restarted bringing more money home by playing at nightclubs. The family was so proud of him and the media welcomed his come back. Few nights after, he restarted drinking “responsibly” due to temptations to another “irresponsible” relapse. The media, more tax payers, and even more family members were harder on him. Do you think few nights at Adfec zones could have helped your Dad? or should we fund only treatment centers and jails? Imagine you have three sisters. Sister one, a very strong one, drinks “responsibly”, twelve bottles a day but got her life together. Sister two, a follower, peer pressure controls her life from alcohol to drugs. Sister three, a growing champion, whose life should not be gambled with. Shouldn't we try Adfec zones to save at least one family member? Or should we continue to trade blames and gamble lives? Adfec is a beautiful alternative to today's nightlife. Victims of drugs or alcohol should consider class action lawsuits against governments rather than suing rappers. We pay taxes to be protected and not gambled with indifference. May God bless Showlove Trinity: Let's learn, let's work, let's have fun. By Jigster, An African Philosopher Jigster is the founder of www.adfec.info The Following letter was sent to president Obama, Prime minister Harper and few other leaders. You are hereby authorized to copy it to send to your political leaders: Presidents, governors, senators, congressrep, etc Alcohol and Drug Free Entertainment Club -- www.Adfec.info March 20, 2010 Dear Mr. President and whom it may concern, The rising trend of drugs and alcohol related problems should be a concern to every caring heart and mind. Adfec is marvelous idea with prospects of reversing the trend or at least containing the problem. Our action oriented preventive approach is different from any government run or supported programme. As such, I humbly urge you to give us the due consideration. Temptation is a real challenge that diminished good people from prophets to presidents. Entertainment is a common good that humankind will continue to seek. These unquestionable facts calls for the responsibility to provide the option for entertainment without temptation. Adfec is more for the children and weaker adults but also for more future 'prophets and presidents'. Society, especially those entrusted with power, must understand the sins in inaction. As the honorable Haile Selassie said, “ Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.” As a 'voice of justice', I warn you of the consequences of indifference and inaction towards the conspicuous and unfaltering idea of establishing Adfec zones. Indeed, we will proceed with or without you, but it will be shameful and sinful to wait till our fan base reach the millions or billions. I reaffirm my commitment to Humankind through Adfec and urge you to join me shape the future of entertainment. Leadership requires courage and sacrifice that may put you at odds with the powerful. You have the option to choose GOOD over evil or risk a shameful dragging at the very least. Adfec will directly save lives and improve quality of lives by reducing drug and alcohol consumption. Indirectly, we will reduce healthcare cost, reduce obesity, increase physical activity, improve economic standing, improve lyrical contents, etc We will gladly answer any question you may have about ADFEC. A ten to thirty minutes browsing on our web site www.Adfec.info will clearly show you that we are not necessarily against drugs and alcohol but we believe the people have the right to entertainment without temptation. We are not asking for the abolition of Alcohol or traditional nightclubs -- “Let drinkers drink but let Adfec exist...” -- A stand the Beloved Jesus Christ would have preferred over the present reality of limited choice in nightlife entertainment. Nightlife is here to stay and Music is a Godly thing we must reclaim from the devil. Will musicians or politicians embrace adfec first? How many thousands, millions, or billions of ordinary people will embrace Adfec before the media and political leaders understand the public good in promoting Adfec? Once again, I humbly ask you to join us, while I remain available to answer any question you may have. Sincerely,
